A huge crowd of visitors gathered to see the mystical mushroom park last autumn - we've had 7000 people during 22 nights. This autumn we are ready to surprise you even more: three times more mushrooms, more activities, more services and more interesting merchandise. We are waiting for you in the Mushroom Park, at "Cranes Nest", Trakai district from September 14th till October 20th, Thursday to Sunday, 18:00 - 22:00 PM.
Glowing mushroom park is a mystical and magical place made for family leisure. A strange world of mushrooms will put a spell on you - you'll want to take pictures, make videos and play joyfully as if you have suddenly found yourself in a kingdom of miracles. The mushrooms will glow, blink, make sounds and even puff out smoke! You will be amazed by their size, because some of them will reach up to 7 metres and others will only sprout their little caps through moss.
We invite you to an epic journey in the "Cranes Nest". On the opening days of the park you will be greeted by a King of Mushrooms himself at the entrance straight from the balcony of the Squirrell Tower. Once you enter through the gates you will find lots of quirky houses, snug spots, amusing activities and, of course, the exposition of glowing mushrooms which starts as soon as you walk straight through the thick stem of Mr. Boletus.
If suddenly you'll start feeling chilly you can come to warm up in a little clay house by the fire and spend some time there watching a movie about mushrooms. If you're hungry you can visit the "Town Hall" - our restaurant and have a tasty "Mona ližė" pizza or you can go to the "Cranes kitchen" and get some fries, roasts or stew. And if you're thirsty you have quite some options at the restaurant "Lesykla". There's hot apple juice, herbal tea, cocoa, regular coffee and even mushroom coffee. If you feel ill or simply interested in medicine be sure to visit our pharmacy "Fungoseptai" where you can learn about the healing powers of various mushrooms and purchase dried mushrooms and food supplements to better your health.
If you're in search for activities for your children there is plenty to choose from - a LEGO room in the "Hedgehog Church", a swimming pool with no water only lots of plastic bottle caps, a chicken pen with always hungry chickens, a goat named Milky Marry that lets anyone to milk her... Or maybe they wish to carve a wooden whistle or mold a clay mushroom? And if you just want to dream away into space and future - a cosmic mushroom station awaits you in the "Oak shed". You are also invited to make a fun photoshoot with mushroom costumes, get your face nicely painted by magical fairies or join a drum session by the fire.
We'll create a cozy and festive atmosphere at the "Cranes Nest" on the evenings of September and October. "Cranes Nest" is a place meant for children and teenagers' educations and summer camps, created in the principle of sustainability - you will find odd houses made of clay and old windows here. There are also around 3000 oak saplings in the "Cranes Nest". You are surely going to have plenty to see and plenty to walk about, so plan to stay here for 2 - 3 hours. We are alcohol free, any usage is strictly prohibited.
