Bartoš Eiliakas (Lithuania)
Young Lithuanian electro-acoustic composer Bartoš Eiliakas brings his music through the Baltic States in a series of unforgettable live performances.
Bartoš invites you into a transformative musical world where the ethereal tones of electronic soundscapes merge seamlessly with classical piano, strings, and other traditional acoustic instruments like gongs and flutes that together create beautiful sound textures of an authentic, cinematographic musical landscape, which transfers the listener to the world of dreams, fantasy and visions.
Experience the old, new and yet unheard compositions as the composer performs music from his albums “What Else But Life” and “Kaleidoscopia” and an upcoming unannounced release with his favourite strings duo - Tomas Petrikis and Kostas Tumosa.
"All my music, and especially my latest album, has a very unique purpose of leading the listener on a journey into their inner self. For me, this album has a very specific story but what matters more than sharing that perspective is allowing every listener to discover their own unique experience, something deeply personal to them. Something that might strike a thought, spark an action or a feeling inviting to take a look inwards. The album’s name "What Else But Life" speaks for itself. It is not something very specific. Rather an idea. It's the key to a process... What the process will be depends on the listener." - the composer shares his ideas after the release of his latest album.
Performers:

Bartoš Eiliakas composer’s journey with music started in his family - he was born and raised in a family of Lithuania's gong masters Alicija and Ričardas Eiliakas. Unique surroundings and exposure to many traditional instruments formed an authentic musical feel and ability to join archaic sounds with classical and modern music.
