Luca Stricagnoli is an Italian acoustic guitar virtuoso whose music videos have garnered over 200 million views and who performs to sold-out venues all over the world — from America to Japan, from South America to Europe. Now he returns to Europe with his brand-new tour “High Voltage” — and will perform for our audience as well!
Luca is widely regarded as one of the most unique guitarists in the world. Leading international media outlets including NME, Guitar World, Der Spiegel, La Repubblica, Daily Sabah, Frankfurter Allgemeine, and many others have described him as a phenomenon and a musical prodigy. His creative approach has made a significant contribution to the modern evolution of the acoustic guitar.
He completely redefines what the acoustic guitar can be: performing on multiple instruments at once, using bows, unconventional capos, self-developed techniques, and even his own invented instruments, such as the Reversed Triple Neck Guitar and the Reversed Slide Neck.
🎸 His show is more than a concert — it is a musical journey filled with energy and unexpected surprises. 🌍 His music has taken him to stages in more than 20 countries, performing for audiences of up to 12,000 people, and has attracted attention from world-famous bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Walk Off The Earth.
Luca began his musical journey at the age of 10, studying classical guitar and later continuing his education at the conservatory, one of Italy’s most prestigious music institutions. He achieved success in classical competitions, including 1st prize at the “Città di Lissone” competition. After discovering fingerstyle guitar, he devoted countless hours to mastering and refining his technique.
With the acoustic guitar, he went on to win several prestigious competitions, including the “VII Festival Internazionale Della Chitarra di Fiuggi”, where he received a perfect score of 100/100, as well as “Festival dei Talenti”, and earned the opportunity to perform as a support act for the legendary Italian band New Trolls. During the same period, he began his long-term collaboration with Italian luthier Davide Serracini, which continues to this day.
